Duties include
  • Review technical submissions & industry standard documents
  • Prepare task & site-specific RAMS for project works
  • Liaise with various bodies and individuals, including, clients, contractors, residents, suppliers, technical experts, and other consultants
  • Support other project managers, sales engineers, department managers and directors within the business and across the wider market
  • Keep up to date with environmental matters, and be aware of policy and developments in this area
  • Administer contracts and ensure that work is completed to deadline
  • Travel to customer sites to complete site surveys as part of sales engineering works
  • Provide technical content for marketing department
  • In line with company requirements, undertake professional development via accredited training schemes - adding value to the role and Services department.
Skills required
  • Physically active and able to work in occasional inhospitable environments
  • Sound understanding of engineering and water treatment chemistry
  • Project management experience
  • Knowledge of BSRIA BG29 & BG50 guidance (support available)
  • Familiar with HSE ACOP L8, specifically HSG274 Part 1, 2 & 3. (support available)
  • Knowledge of corrosion chemistry
  • Good communication skills
  • Good teamwork and people management skills, for working with colleagues and clients
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Ability to interpret technical reports
  • IT knowledge and a willingness to learn new systems
  • Good time management skills
  • A willingness to take on new challenges
  • A full clean driving licence
